GIPAC is seeking outside funding for the USGS aquifer recharge study.  Hal, Steve and Nancy met with Rick Larson’s aide to discuss support.  Hal and Steve also attended a 40th District Democratic Party town hall event and talked to newly appointed State Senator Liz Lovett concerning funding ideas.  They also spoke with Representative Jeff Morris's Legislative Assistant about funding possibilities.  Hal believes that there may be some money available from the county but we haven't heard anything specific. GIPAC will continue to pursue funding for this study.

There was a discussion on the increasing approvals of variances at the county.
