Considering the Guemes Sub-Area Plan

The Guemes Island Sub-Area Plan will be under consideration at the Skagit Commissioner's Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 18, from 10:30 till 11:30 in the Commissioner's Hearing Room, Administration Building,1800 Continental Room, Mt Vernon.

Your views are invited by attendance, representaton or letter. Letters have to be on 8.5 x 11 inch paper to be considered and may be mailed or faxed (360.366.9416). Deadline is 4:30 pm on Friday, March14.

The Commissioners will consider whether they will place the island's sub-area plan on this year's docket. The Alger and the Guemes Sub-Area Plans will be considered for the docket.

Skagit County Planning and Development Services is recommending that tha Sub-Area Plan be considered through this amendment cycle. If you want to read some of this for yourself, it is all available on www.skagitcounty.net (with some persistence).
